Yeah...right, a flare travels 93 million miles...from a 840,000 mile diameter star. This movie are retarded. I liked "Next" much better.

@VeryFunnyStudios The speed of the flare would be limited by the rotation speed of the earth and the available/current area exposed . This would be much like a wave traveling over 1000 miles per-hour. Should the flare hit directly on a area with you in it, the event would seem instantaneous.
