i don't get it why the hell was earth hour at 8:30. thats just a bunch of people sitting in the dark. it should have been for maybe a few hours on a sunday around noon so people are actually able to see for the time period.

You actually spend more energy turning the lights back on after leaving them off for an hour than keeping them on for an hour.
