first was la flavour and later came gary´s gang, I knew this version from a radio program called "disconights" in Stereorey 100.1 mhz, today no exist this radio channel

Te comento que espero reunir mucho de aquel material (Nunca hice un Backup personal!!) y compartirlo, nuevamente, con toda la gente que disfruta como nosotros de esa época. Hay un Proyecto nuevo que está ya casi listo y esperando para salir al aire; ojalá sea cuestión de unos meses, mientras tantopor acá estamos, Saludos!

Hola discoinc, Me da mucho gusto leer tu comentario, soy Luis Angel Hernández y produje "Disco Nights" en conjunto con Guillermo del Valle y, en la parte ejecutiva, estaba Pablo González Vargas. Este programa fue concebido como respuesta al ya entonces Clásico "Back to Disco" de Stereo 100 y bueno, la gente comenzó a sintonizar nuestra "Maratónica propuesta" y hubo muy buena respuesta. Alrededor de 2 años duró el Programa y vinieron los cambios, el cierre de Stereo Rey y el final de una era.

Far out! I never knew Gary's Gang did Mandolay. I have the origional Sweet City Record and it was hard to come by.

My friend that found that old record in the closet of a health club in Dallas in 1981 passed away on 2-25-90.

Both the club and James are gone but they live on with this song.....
