With the cats in place it wont get loud at all. I ve had flowmaster 40s with several comparable size engines as yours and it was throaty and thats just about it. You have to get a highflow cat or simply not have a converter in place, for off-highway use ; )

Wow, thanks for the forwarning this video provides. That exhaust note is stock sounding.

ouch!!! 800 bucks. shoulda gotten a gibson exhaust for 300 and it sounds better. im just saying.

Hope you resolved ur issues with Borla. Im building a 94 YJ 4.0L and just recently finished welding my new exhaust together. I used a flowmaster super 40 and a high flow cat with stock piping. Total cost = $175. Great sound. I have a video of it on my channel (its my only vid). If you're able to return the borla and are looking for something else, i'd suggest you take my setup into consideration if this is the sound you're looking for. Hope this helps.

did u get a cold air intake? it will magnify the sound!!!
-
lol you spend 800 for an exhaust.

Im really shocked !! something is wrong trust me !! watch my channel i have borla headers and cat back !! compare it with yours !!

would this fit a 02 TJ apex edition? i think mine is a 4L idk though it could be either 4 or 6 :)
MTRKOV - I totally agree, but unfortunately Borla nor Quadratec will do anything about it so I'm out $800+ dollars for an exhaust that sounds like this!

I am very disappointed in the Borla Exhaust system that I purchased!
I posted these videos to show Borla corporate how it sounds. The guy on the phone with Borla never got back to me with any resolve, so now I'm stuck with an $800 exhaust system that sounds the same or worse than the factory exhaust!
If anyone from Borla would be willing to work with me on a resolve, please leave a post!
I would to leave a positive post about how great Borla is... but at this point I cannot!
