@5videoviewer True, but if you listen to Don Caballero, (Ian Williams former band), you hear a lot of Battles influence in their stuff as well. I don't think they'll have an issue keeping their signature sound.

this is great! I'm pretty bummed that Tyondai isn't with Battles anymore, but he retained so much of that sound, you can really tell how much of an influence he must have had with the Battles sound... I wonder what post-Braxton Battles will be like
