Great stuff Bobby, keep the videos coming! It is interesting that this one "know-it-all" guy enjoys bashing others of this art, calls you son, and claims to have such a vast resume that rivals all of us. He was only born 2yrs before you, and most of us were drinking beer while he was in diapers. For the newbies that want to learn the art, ignore the BS and follow the people that want to help you. Peace out.

@BobbyFromNJ Thank you for the reply and for the book info. I'm going to look into getting copies of the books hopefully this weekend. Cheers !

@BobbyFromNJ I agree that you don't need to discuss water chemistry. Your other series was comprehensive and clear. What else could you possibly cover on the subject? Get your water tested, find out the numbers for the style that you want to brew, grab that handly little spreadsheet, and play with the salts. Done.

You know who loses pissing matches right? Everyone. I may mention the importance of water chem in one of the upcoming videos but at best it will refer to the other three I already did.

@hypnolobster Far secondary? Trying telling that to the guy who uses distilled water for his first all grain batch.

@nige4958 Water is important, but it's far, FAR secondary to getting your process down. Learning your system, hitting temperatures, etc and knowing why you're doing all those things comes well before messing with water. If it's palatable and not full of chlorine and the associated chemicals, it will be just fine.

@nige4958 Why don't you make your own videos on water? Cut the bullshit, and just talk about it and demonstrate it without shaking your ass.
I like your videos I have subscribed to your channel and I look forward to learning as much as I can. I'm just a beginner but I've made my second batch with a true brew home brewing kit, it was fun and enjoyable but really want to take this to the next level and learn as much as possible about all grain brewing . I find it very interesting even the boring bits as you say. Can you suggest any books to supplement my learning? Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.

Get a print copy of Palmer's How to Brew and also grab Brewing Classic Styles for recipes. If you want even more, I really like Mosher's Radical Brewing and Daniel's Designing Great Beers.

Hey Bobby. I see the beer Grinch has already started on you. Anyway, I highly respect your attitude and diplomacy. As a teacher, I think you will help thousands of people get into all grain. I support you all the way, and look forward to learning from someone who knows how to teach. Congrats on your new baby. Cheers!
