@sidlocc23 They don't like this version...They are hardcore Hall and Oates fans, the original singers, this version is IMO is better than H&O's. H&O will always be great music composers and they sing most of their songs with outstanding talent but this song was perfected by Kalapana.

@GrandMasterGuess perfected my ass. Im guessing u have developed a taste for this version because youve heard it many times or you grew up with it. Everyone has this opinion but it is not the better version.

@89afvet Show me a H&O version that is better than this one...I love H&O but some songs are meant to be written by talented song writers and sung better by talented musicians. Anyways... it's better than the crap they play on the radio these days.

@GrandMasterGuess I am an unbiased listener and have heard both for the first time in the last 10 mins..... all I have to say is..... Hall&Oats has a dreamy cool style while.... kalapana has a spunky and party feel to their music. Both are good in their own way.

@EasternMerchant Tell you the truth I never heard the H&O version when I was growing up in Hawaii and this version was played all the time through the 80's even...

H&O is not in the rock and roll hall of fame which they deserve 1000% as without them... music in the 70's and 80's would have been missing something.

Hall and Oates original... the way Kalapana renditioned this thing was equally fabulous. It's probably true..they really did "outdo" the original. Very rare when it happens, but this time it's at least equally good, if not BETTER. They did this so, so good. Gawd! Awesome!!

@89afvet Hall & Oates is probably my favorite group of all-time, I love every one of their songs. With that being said, there is absolutely no question the Kalapana version of this song is the best one. It's not even close.
