  • John Landis is awesome, I love his voice and how he keeps laughing at everything.

  • For the love of Chirst leave Landis alone, The deaths of those kids And Vic Morrow were very tragic but it was an accident. Granted he is too Blame but he also shares the blame with everyone involved. Also The ending John Landis had planned didn't involve a helicopter or anything the studio execs wanted an ending that showed more character development and a happier ending. Instead of calling the guy a murderer check your facts first. Brandon lee died due to human error and no one got this mad.

  • John Landis has an EXTREMELY high opinion of himself and his work. American Werewolf isn't THAT fucking FUNNY. Get over yourself, Leonard Maltin!

"For the love of Chirst leave Landis alone, The deaths of those kids And Vic Morrow were very tragic but it was an accident"

    Fuck you!

  • @Daitsdudes honestly you are an enabler and people like you are why people like Landis get away with manslaughter, involuntary or not he should have been punished for his shitty decision making but instead he got a slap on the wrist and paid off the victims families. Fuck. That. Noise. No honor in that or in YOU. Clearly.

  • Rick Baker rocks

  • John is so cute and funny. :)

  • Landis.....total idiot.....trying to sound like a normal person!!!!

  • To all the idiots calling him a murderer, he did not set out to kill those people - it was an accident. Do you think he doesn't have that in his head every day? It wont ever go away, it will always haunt him. If the shoe was on the other foot and it was you who was part of something that led to the accidental deaths of people, you'd think differently, and I can bet you that you wouldn't like the abusive comments that you clearly think it's right to fire about him aimed at you.

  • Uhh, this guy is either a moron or a complete dickwad. How anyone can think putting your main actor with two kids in a scene at night with a helicopter 25ft above them as fireballs explode around them and think it's safe is beyond common sense. That's gross negligence, and that's why he's a dick in my book. Anything for the epic shot, right? It's all fun and games until heads start flying.

  • Everyones judgement of Landis over the deaths of Vic Morrow & the two kids is abit harsh. Everyone makes mistakes, & unfortunately his & other crew members on Tzone's mistake cost three people their lives. It was tragic, but an accident all the same. Many people have made, & will make, errors that cost people their lives, it could happen to anyone, so leave the man alone. Landis seems like a nice guy & he will be haunted by that night for the rest of his life. He's no murderer.

  • @tardwhisperer He's a movie maker, but still human, and not sadistic in nature. He felt the role Vic was playing was an admirable one, where his character redeemed his bigoted views to save the Children who had lost their parents... He swears to protect them, and that's the basis of the scene being filmed
