No i cant believe it, i'm not a surfer & i certainly hate the cold. Mixing the two??
Do you think the 85 one was not an officialy recorded one? Maybe they judged the height by comparing it to the lighthouse. Just trying to justify them calling the recent one the biggest.

Google "Fastnet lighthouse hit by a rogue wave" and read the top link. That one was 48meters (157ft).

You have no idea how much poison bait will be used here now. The words"poison and bait" are synonymous with living in Australia now. The plagues of locust saw Australia as the new meca to sell locust poison also.

The farmers generally poison the ducks with bait, and then have an annual "Blame duck disappearance on the shooters" session. I can smell a war on ducks, as Australia has become the new meca for chemical companies selling cheap poisons. Our river systems are becoming all but dead in no time in my opinion.
