@MarissaJo1997 ....I have first hand knowledge of his disposition when it applies to quality and providing the people of the community with what they have paid for. The condition of the store as you see it in the video is how he opened it. If you look closely at the shelving you will notice that much of it is for clothing (he purchased it used from a retail store) once stocked with canned goods or other heavy items such as cleaning products, they bent in the middle and he never corrected problem, so much of the product ended up being place on the floor because he refused to buy proper shelve. ASK the good people of Pomeroy Iowa what they think of Nick Graham's handling of the store/cafe. Currently a nice young lady is leasing the building and trying to make it work. Her name is Amber and from what I understand she is a wonderful chef and has done good things with the cafe', she continues to wrestle with the grocery side of the building amidst consistant harrassment from Nick trying to bleed her for money that isnt do him. Contractual guidelines mean nothing to Nick Graham and typically he would just walk away rambling "let them sue me, I will just claim that I am a bankrupt college student and they will get nothing...." (college student...HA...he is a high school drop out) In this case his fear of the Town of Pomeroy learning that he used the Economic Development Money (granted to him to open and run the store) for his own personal use to buy a new vehicle and other personal items, overshadowed his arrogance.

Once he had decided that this store was too much of a hassel to bother with, he closed the doors with no plan to reopen. He also violated his purchase contract by removing equipment from the restraunt for use in other stores. The equipment was not returned until the owners threats of foreclosure finally wore him down.

Just another example of Nick Graham's ability to scam a town out of their money. Nick took this run down store and did nothing with it, he stocked with out dated product from his Rolfe Iowa store and allowed it to fall into a worse physical condtion than when he aquired it, when handling the store and complaints of the locals became too much, he handed it over to, by his own admission 2 known local drug abusers who further ran the business, to include the restraunt into the ground.
