-
@noushywoushywoo Nothing pretentious about it.

this is what is wrong with art now....pretentious much?!
-
@MATTDUNCAN1 ...and it is important to keep in mind that what you're watching is essentially a television commercial : "Give us your money because what we do is completely irrelevant". The young ladies of 'fionamail' saw that and responded accordingly. These guys are no better than the Shamwow Guy. The appeal and the point is subjective for without them, we'd have nothing to point and laugh at. G'day...
-
@KaiserVanDusen ..oh...i must write that down...thank you so much..i assume you agree..there is NO appeal, the work is pointless...so i return to my comment...how very..intelligent...how...clev
er..how middle class -
@MATTDUNCAN1 Well...that's the appeal of it, isn't it? Mundane, Retrograde, Academic....How far can we take mediocrity before it becomes second nature to Pavlovian? There's no art in switching the remote...just which channel you end up with...geddit?
-
so bored with all this .. so retrograde...dull..academic..p
retentious...SHOCK ME FOR FUCK SAKE
Great! Can I have one too, Paul?

John Wood and Paul Harrison, are two video art artists I always refer to in my lectures in my academy. Their work is always inspiring and appealing, especially to young artisis, industrial design students and architecture students. Unfortunately, i do not have their 'In profile' dvd which is out of stock. Can anybody help me get even a second hand dvd, or recommend where I can get one.
Thank you all.

Hi Ben, you could try contacting the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham, they hosted an exhibition by Harrison and Wood recently and stock a number of publications.
