@giaisbomb hes using alchohol as a medicine for what he saw overseas. i had a friend whose brother drank and commited scuicide after getting back its really sad.

PTSD is absolutely no laughing matter. To think so is to betray every soldier that has ever put boots on. I think they should have identified more with an interventionist that also has knowledge of PTSD and being a veteran of a foreign engagement, not just an alcoholism specialist.

i think the counsellor guy really messed up on this one, as well as his father. i understand they care about him and only want what's best but the one thing you DO NOT do to a person suffering from PTSD is pester them and demand them to tell what happened. they could've worded their reasons much better and gone about it in a completely different way. they're all lucky he doesn't snap one day and have a flashback and hurt one of them. I've got buddies that have PTSD and it's a very scary beast

I've seen every episode of this show and never before has one broke my heart like Adam's. I hope he broke up with that soulless sociopath, and I hope he knows he's special and deserves so much more than he realizes. I've seen SO many comments about Adam's episode and a lot of them say the same thing: "No Intervention has ever stuck with me like this one," "I've never cared about another participant's recovery this much," and they ALL to know how he's doing. A&E, please try to catch up with him??
