You need to save that text you type so it wouldn't be deleted, as you are just typing like for input and indeed you did a very good job for this video you almost went through from week 2-5 Uni level tutorial!

Believe me not many out there know this much.

@ImAWannaBe2711 it takes a little more than just dragging pictures around a screen. This guy gives you about the best K.I.S.S. method in the world. (keep it simple stupid.) If you were to try and learn any other way (tutorials) then you would find it WAY more taxing than this. If you cannot grasp this guys method then you should find a different hobby. zynga didnt create great apps by looking for an easier method than this. take up woodworking or something.

@tbasherizer I totally agree, I have attacked learning java and android app programming from the coding point of view and I never in a million years would have thought to attack it from this point of view. I am a beginner "hobbyist" and this is a great way to teach people to develop their own apps.

When you press "back" it exits the application. In which, it deletes the all unsaved information resetting the application back to default. When you press the "home" button, it suspends the application. Therefore, you can continue where you left off just in case you didn't save.
