There were some terrific matches at the 09 French Open. This one, Sharapova vs. Petrova, and Kuznetsova vs. Serena were all terrific.

Someone once described the comments section on this site as a sess pit of idiocy. They obviously had good grounding judging by some of the comments made regarding Serena's ability to play tennis.
You need to resolve you're issues with powerful women and accept that the Williams sisters have changed womens tennis and will be amog the best for a long time.

I'm glad Serena pulled this match out and I hope she gets better as the tournament progresses. I know the French can be a challenge for both Venus and Serena but if they put their minds and their games to it I know that they can do it.

yeah i hope they do better as time goes by also. They can do it! They just need to keep focus. I dont think i've ever seen a crowd that didn't support Serena as much as this one. =-(
