@mpittard21 We're on the same page dude. I'm all about the old school cybermen. I was talking about the new ones being kinda bland. I think the new ones are kinda rubbish to be honest. "Delete. Delete." . . . come on. lol
Picture it . . . the Cyber King all trashed up dimension/time jumps to Mondas instead of the void. Mondas is in a world crisis and uses the salvaged tech to 'save' themselves. Man that would rock.

@mpittard21 At first, I actually did try to work in the New Series Cyber-theme as well, though it didn't turn out very well.

Id love to see what you might do if you combine some of this with the new Cybermen esque themes. However i fear the 80's .. menace if you will would get lost in the exchange

woops- i just read the whole intro
Cybermen have been plenty emotional. Take a look at .. Attack of the Cybermen , Earthshock and Revenge of the Cybermen. Particuarly Revenge. The Cyber Leader in Revenge was almost strutting and on the angry stick. Nemesis was really the last Cyber story where the Cybermen seemed less emo

@mpittard21 Even in Silver Nemesis, the Cyber Leader misinterprets something De Flores said as an "insult."

Was just geeking out surfin and thinkin about cyber-stuff. When you think about it, they kinda laid out the groundwork for more emotional cybermen (if not MONDAS cybermen) when that chick took over the Cyber King during 10's reign. Wouldnt it be sick if that dimension jump sent the Cyber King to Mondas of the past (pre-cyber era) and got the whole ball rolling?
Again - AMAZING THEME! Just get rid of the clock bells and go with a bell with deeper sounding bass and its perfect.

@KirksMerkin Interesting idea, though the first Mondas Cybermen looked a lot more primitive. I always kind of thought it would be the other way around... ie: Mondas Cybermen (sometime after evolving into how they look today) mucking about with inter-dimensional technology ended up in Pete's World, and John Lumic got a hold of them and copied their design.
And yeah, I spent a lot of time trying to emulate the bell sound, but eventually had to settle for the closest sound I had.
