2001 - Antitrust - Trailer

This movie is the fictional story of computer programming genius Milo Hoffman after graduating from Stanford and getting out into the competitive world of computer software. In his contemplation of where to begin his career, he is contacted by Gary Winston whose character is loosely based on Bill Gates. Winston is the CEO of a company called NURV, and they are on the brink of completing the global communication's system, Synapse. They need Hoffman to help them meet their launch date, so after much thought and with the full support of his girlfriend Alice, he accepts the job. Tragedy soon after strikes and Milo becomes suspicious of the company he has been wrapped up in. He learns that trusting anyone could be a mistake, and that nothing is as it seems.

@AlexisAlways1 I think she is "worried" because of the possibility that NURV would kill her and make it seem like it was her stepfather who did it (just like they killed Teddy, and made it seem like it was that racist gang), not because her stepfather might get into legal trouble...:)

A scene that really stood out in this movie was when Milo read that Lisa was molested by her stepfather. Then, he tells her he knows. But when he tells her that people will get in legal trouble Lisa is worried about her stepfather. That scene stood out. If her stepfather did really molest her she wouldn't care what happens to the pervert.

I knew Steve Jobs has cancer and at the end of August, I read that he is stepping down from Apple. He'll still be on the Board of Directors.

I have this on my DVR and have watched it several times. I heard no mention of a journal, and/or saw Milo and Lisa kissing. I wish I had the computer knowledge that many computer people have. I don't like calling them geeks. I am going to see which college they filmed this movie because it doesn't look like Stanford. Bill Gates' house looks very similar to Gary Winston's. I am not a fan of Microsoft. If I had the money I would buy Mac and PC.
