This is a video of my vintage General Electric 7-4691A Fidelity I clock radio. It is from the late 1970s or early 1980s. This unit is by far one of the best performing and sounding units in my collection, I actually use it every day. It likely contains some GE Superadio components per vwestlife, and it performs like it does. This blows most any other clock radio away...it is an awesome piece of equipment. Not bad for $6.00 at the thrift store. Again, another relic from a bygone era...enjoy!
These are very well made radios and can easily compete with higher end clock radios of similar vintage. Proton made a model 320 digital clock radio which was a very pricey item for its time, and the GE sounds just as good. Congrats on getting yours for just $6! I got mine for $35, but it has no problems whatsoever--everything works and its in great cosmetic condition. Well worth the price. :-)

This must've been a store display model, with that big sticker on the top.
