@Hoodrio Thanks very much for the quick reply. I use a Zoom G2.1u (it has an expression pedal built in) as part of a rig with other pedals for gigging and practice, and we do a few Stones songs so I'll experiment along those lines you indicate. Thanks again.

Could you explain what settings you used on the Zoom G2 (or G2.1u) and your amp, for the 6 tracks, please: the tone you get is great! Apologies if you've done this elsewhere. Thanks.

@TheLooseCovers I can't recall exactly, but typically for lessons my PRRI is set around 2.5 volume, 4.5 treble, 7 bass, 2 reverb, no trem; and the G2 has some tape echo and maybe a little compression. On this lesson the tone is probably more due to the Route 66 pedal's overdrive and/or compression.

Can you explain the order of in which that main riff for beast of burden goes?
Is it: B E B (3 times) then a C sharp minor then an A chord at the 9th fret
theplourde 3 weeks ago
@theplourde No, it's B to E (4 times total), then B to C#m, then an E to A chord at the 9th fret.
