This video was taken one week before her passing, on a Friday morning. Mary had requested for someone to tie her tie, and a debate ensued on how to properly tie a Windsor knot and if the knot should have a dimple (or cleavage as Mary put it). Its how I like to remember her... laughing and smiling.
Obituary: Mary Ann Litten, 52, of Columbus, passed away on Dec. 24, 2010. She was born on Sept. 28, 1958 in Frankfurt, Germany where her parents were stationed with the U.S. Air Force in Germany. Mary was a 1976 graduate of Admiral King High School and graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1980 with a degree in Accounting and received her Masters Degree in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina, Raleigh, NC. She was employed at R.J. Reynolds in Winston-Salem, NC and later moved to Columbus, where she was employed at Alliance Data. In Aug. of 2004, she joined Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) where she served as an Information Technology Manager. Mary was active in sports and loved skiing, biking and playing golf. She was also an active volunteer working with Pet Pals, a dog therapy program at the Ohio State Medical Center. Her two pets, Brandy and Ditto were trained therapy dogs.
