I cant post links here for some retarded reason.

But, theres an interview with some capcom guy on gamespy where he says that Daigo has played over 10.000 matches in SFIV and ranks number one in the world in their ranking system, winning 94% of his games which are only against the best japenese SFIV players. Hes staying out of tournaments because the real money is not yet there and he doesnt want to show off too much of his playstyle untill theres a lot of money at stake.

@cappinkill upon further research, you appear to be correct. its most of the classic characters that were added to the PSX port, evil ryu was indeed in the arcade version.

i just want to point out that evil ryu was not in SFA1, he came about for the PSX version of SFA2 and was later added to SFA2G/SFZ2A. he in the home version of SFA3 and all versions after. and the whole story of evil ryu was that unlike akuma, ryu couldnt control it and it destroyed him(SFA3) so you are right he is evil. also, his first appearance was SF1 when he was retconned to have "snapped" and metsu shoryuken'd sagat who was trying to play nice and help up the kid he had just beaten.

Well, while I am not religious and do certainly not believe in his existence I can recall the devil trying to tempt him, then Jesus going all "NO I AM THE LIGHT OF JUSTICE, HADOOKEN!" So well, I guess he too had his troubles containing evil energy.but expelled it and overcame it blahblah, by practically committing suicide (honestly, if he really is supposed to be the son of god, he could have pulled of a shungokusatsu on all freaking Israel.

Honestly, there are billions of other characters that kick ass, sadly story and looks, are a very important feature, not just kicking ass.

Then again, Ryu is known for his simple self, no real story surrounding him, no revenge, no justice to serve, interestingly enough, Ryu is world wide known and famous, for being pretty plain... I mean Ken is the colorful version with his nice story and all. Ryu? Just plain and with a never concluding plan.

Ironically that is what fans, and I like about him
