  • why cant you relax man... you were constantly moving...

i couldn't observe the video quality...

  • @siddiqui16 I guess I was a little fidgety. I had just unboxed it and was eager to try the video function. I guess this makes it a decent sample of what it would be like to be caught without a tripod while panning across a screen.

  • ughh.. unless you have a steadicam, you should walk and shoot

  • @JogBird I agree. I've been looking into getting a spring arm compensated rig to use with my new camera. They're just SOOOO damn expensive.

  • At first look, I thought "damn, that's crappy quality!" then I noticed the sharper edges closer to the camera, in the foreground. And I realized it was the manual focus that it has in video mode :D

getting one of those this weekend, are you happy with it?

  • @Xaeron187 I certainly like it, though I rarely shot video with it because of the fact that you have to manual focus while you're shooting and unless you have VERY good eyes, you can't really tell if it's in focus or not just by looking at the screen.

  • WTF I CAN'T EVEN SEE THE VIDEO QUALITY!!

  • lol whats with your exposure and shutter speed? It looks like you just unpackaged it and turned it on without fixing it to make it look more gloriously awesome.

  • @gunznmotorchick I have to admit that the only reason I got it was because I was upgrading from my D40 and I thought the video feature would be cool and for what I paid for it, I can't complain. I have to agree with the general consensus that if you want to shoot good video, go with a camera that is meant only for video. Having the video feature on a DSLR is only handy if you're out shooting stills and you come across something you want to film.

  • @TheOfficialSabrina I was at the max zoom for the lens I had on it which was a Nikon 55-200 zoom lens.

  • Now the D7000 offers some beautiful video quality, but you really have to shoot it right to get it right with any video camera

  • @azbor1cua

    lol, 720p is HD-...
