    I am a Buddhist and I do not believe in birth after physical death and I believe that the mind is the product of the brain.

    Most important thing for me in Buddhism is the 4 noble truths, Anitta Dukka and anata. Kalami sutta.

  • @richo61 By saying you don't believe in a God and defining yourself as an atheist you reacting to to and against a "God" based religion. Buddism has no beliefs or dogma to react to. To exist like this allows it to be free and independent in its love and compassion.

    reincarnation is HINDUISM....not buddhism...and karma is also is hinduism..but buddhistic as well....karma is very difficult to comprehend....but it is worth investigating it.

    what if you are killed because ,you are termed an infidel ????that is why millions of buddhists were slaughtered and their statues destroyed....they were too good...

    I rather be a non buddhist anf FIGHT for their rights.

    unfortunately most of those revolutions are reverting back to islamic religiosity..that is because of lack of democratic values.(islamist have won egypt...in libya...and will in syria too...dictators,were trying to keep seuclarity.not that I condone dictatorship
