@roboguy75 Toho actually hated it. It was nothing like the classic Godzilla. First, godzilla doesn't die from missiles and he never dies.

A monster attacks in USA it then lays eggs when the eggs are destroyed the army or the survivors kills the monster. This concept is used over and over and Especially with the movie .

@normandusvang Yes, I believe it is a division of Sony Pictures which also made JUMANJI, GHOSTBUSTERS (a.k.a. EXTREME GHOSTBUSTERS) MEN IN BLACK, STUART LITTLE, STARSHIP TROOPERS, and JACKIE CHAN.

yup, I feel like toho was happy with this version of zilla, but hated the movie one, so, ya, this is one of the few instances, where the TV show is better than the actual movie
