Google Docs in Plain English

That is what google docs is for... multiple people can edit at the same time and watch the changes almost instantly! Then can even chat while editing...

what happens if two people want to edit at the same time...

that's where google wave comes in, it allows this

they need transitions and that little thingy in powerpoint where you press the button and only a certain about of stuff comes up, i like that but dont know how to do it

and? It's not a fx show, just funny presentation of possibilities google is givin' to you. And those are real, I', using GD as a student whenever I have some group work to do. Sorry for my english...

Google docs is great for editing on partner projects and meshing seperate documents into one document.

Cons: It's not microsoft Office so it's much harder to things you want with much less you can do.
Currently only does Spreadsheets, Word Documents and Power Points, -- I want to be able to share documents -- not necessarily be able to edit them on google but atleast be able to import to have a "home" for other types of program files
