Hubble & Haydn - Bilder aus dem Weltraum, aufgenommen vom Hubble-Teleskop, begleiten dieses Stück aus der Schöpfung von Joseph Haydn, aufgenommen vom Rundfunkchor Berlin und dem Rundfunk-Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin unter Leitung von Helmut Koch im Jahr 1976.
Die Soli werden gesungen von Regina Werner, Heidi Rieß, Peter Schreier und Theo Adam.

  • This is EXACTLY the right visual accompaniment to Haydn's visionary celebration of the universe. Just imagine, how Papa Haydn would have wept for joy to see these glorious images that he dreamed and wrote into music - Magnificent!!

  • @isadcari: It's from Haydn's oratorio "Die Schöpfung" ("The Creation"). There are plenty of versions available on iTunes.
