  • this is the reflight cockpit recording system. I built the system and company and sold it to stargazing aviation a couple years ago. not sure if they are still selling them though...

  • sweet video, how many hours did you have up when this was shot? i would love to do this

  • @Joelby81 Just a handful of hours in helicopters after about 250 or so fixed wing. Flying a helicopter is the most difficult thing I've ever done...and I've done some pretty tough things. While difficult, there is no other way I know of to hover in place above the ground, and take off and land in the space of a few feet. A lot of fun!!!!

  • These Video's are excellent ! The sound track of communications makes It !

    Nice One :-)

  • @andyl2201 Hey Thanks! Helicopters are a ton of fun.

  • the pilot in the left seat is wearing a custom headset camera that he was testing to be used as an aid for flight training

  • Yes, and this became the ReFlight recording system. Sold the company, but check them out online. Tell them I sent you.

  • I've always wanted to be a pilot so I could understand radio chatter ha ha. Great vids. I enjoy watching em all. Makes you feel part of the whole experience.

  • how are you recording this video.Would you please share with me your setup?

  • Yes, it does. 300c and cbi are both bucket seating. The cam is mounted on his helmet/headset.

  • The training facility is Rotors of the Rockies at KBJC in Broomfield, Colorado
