Would you be interested in working with me in using this great video as a part of an iPhone App that teaches intubation?

I dont think so. Laryngitis is an inflammation based on virus.
But if the intubation is dificult and there are several trys nessessary. the laryngs can swell. But you can give medication against swelling after a difficult intubation.

So how did it go for you? Your surgery and your anesthesia induction and intubation? Do you remember any of it? Where are you located?

Hi all !
Answering some posts I woule like to tell you that at least in my country, usually coordinated surgerie's patients are slept with penthotal, then they are given succinilcolina to relax all muscles and they they are intubated (mouth can be opened)
Anaesthetists are the BEST prepared to do this procedures.
Specific situations require the patient to be awake like pregnant woman with food in stomach (lunch or dinner) for cesarean that must really be done ! No drugs to baby !

Oh okay, so they give them drugs to make them sleep before they do this. Makes alot of sense but if I were about to die in a few minutes I would want to be awake and not asleep. Thats just me however.
