Leeds Fans show their support and protest against the FA's snub to former Leeds & England Manager - The Late Don Revie - during a minutes tribute to Matt Busby at Blackburn 1994
Haha they think pissing over a minutes silence for a man who's just died is the best way to "support don revie" and it has nothing to do with the fact he was Manchester United
You think Don Revie would have wanted those scumbags singing through a minutes silence for Busbys Death? I remember hearing Revie's widow say this was disgraceful
You Leeds scum never learn. Enjoy the npower league you horrible little cunts. You don't deserve premiership football.
@haroldbhoy67 WAH WAH WAH WAH of course celtic would never disrespect a miniute silence for a rangers legend or the heroes of this country who have given the ultimate sacrifice
@LUFC896 The classiest response they could have given was the one shown by Gary Speed in this video, head bowed and respectful. I have no love for Man U but this is vile. Disgusting.
re Celtic: You are clearly STILL hurting from Celtic battering the unbeatable Leeds home AND away in the European Cup semi Final. Still very sweet after all these years!
@LUFC896 I don't agree with it. But if your family were raped and murdered would you stay in silence in respect for the people that did it? I think not, and thats why I think it's understandable.
@Bullfinch1970 the reason that there was a minutes silence was because the footballing community had lost one of the best managers the game had ever seen, probably better than Don Revie because he managed Manchester United to their first European cup win, the first English club to win the competion.
Leeds fans were angry because when 'The Don' passed away FA did absolutely nothing in commemorating a league title winners death. Zero. Leeds fans, who are very tribal at the best of times, took this snub as a massive insult. Quite rightly too. When Busby died everybody was forced to acknowledge his death, Leeds fans saw this as one rule for the FA's most beloved club and another rule for everybody else. However, on hindsight it was the wrong thing to do.
Leeds and proud. MOT
