@juudtje I have the unscented Rockin Green, so I dont think there are any perfumes in it, but Im totally willing to try the suggestion! Thanks. :)

@mamaatheart maybe your baby has a rash because of the perfume in all the stuff you use. some vinegar and baking powder should do the trick of taking out any left overs.

@mandarinachinita I wash all my diapers together. But do check the diapers that still might have the warranty to make sure you are following the right washing instructions. BUT most diapers have the same washing instructions so you should be ok.

@MOMMYplus3GIRLS We are trying to get a video together for yeast treatment. Not everyone has to deal with that, but when you do have it , you do need to be careful when trying to fix it. Meantime you can ask Carla or Jen INformation mommy what they did. I believe they are the 2 that had yeast.

@08sarahrangel Thank you very much!! Ross, Love that store. :)

@stephmatswife You mean using the wipe as the barrier between the baby and diaper? No it should get on the diaper. If you do end up using the wipes, or some fabric as a barrier then I would wash separate. Washing together can put the cream on all your diapers.

If you are using a wipe and still using the cream doesnt it still get on your diapers? Do you wash the wipes separate?
I stripped yesterday and sunned them today! Ya'll inspired me! :)

I converted my sister in law. SHe uses fuzzibunz and lately her baby has been keeping a rash. She washing the soaker in vinegar and use the arm & hammer (the one that is cloth diaper safe). When you take the baby's diaper off she is red all over (you can see diaper outline). Looks like she was sunburned. She called her dr and they are going to treat her for yeast and go from there. How would you get ride of yeast out of cloth diapers. I heard using vinegar can only spread and make worse. help!!
I don't know if I am slow but I still don't get what the actual stripping is and how you do it. I am a cloth diaper fan and I am trying to learn as much as I can before I start building my own stash (no baby on the way yet so I have time).

I haven't had any problems with ammonia yet (knock on wood) but I Spray Bac out on every diaper before putting it in the pail. I soak the inserts in water and 2 cups hydrogen peroxide to kill any bacteria left in the inserts. I also recently purchased a diaper sanitizer called bambino Mio fresh nappy sanitizer and I use along with detergent and so far they are fresh every time. You should try it.

I have the amonia smell in my diapers too just after I wash them and also my son has been getting a frequent rash taht doesnt seem to wanna go away, at those times we end up resorting to disposable till the rash heals. Ive stripped a few times with no luck. I think Ill have to do a more in depth stripping. I have just soaked overnigth with a teaspoon of Rockin Green and then washed and rinsed well. I also tried a small amount of bleach on the inserts to no avail. :( New tactic time!

@mamaatheart If you are using Rocking Green def use more than 1 teaspoon. I they recommend 3 Tbsp of rockin green for a good soaking.
Also with Bleach. Rocking green wasn't working for me, so I did a bleach wash JUST on my inserts rinsed a bunch, then added my shells back in and added VERY LITTLE blue dawn original and rinsed like crazy and that HELPED alot. No more rash. No SMELL! YAY! :)
