TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER VIDEOS
http://www.fischbottich.de/Zierfische-Aquarium.288.0.html
+++
You can see a very nice and huge pair of Amphilophus hogaboomorum. The male is more than one foot (30cm) long. Simply amazing.
+++
In this video you can see a tank of a Fishkeeping fair near my hometown (in Duisburg) called "12. Zierfische & Aquarium 2009 und 1. Internationalen Cichliden Tage".

We have a video of many tanks of this fair.
2nd of October 2009 (02.10.2009)
+++
It's a pretty big custom-made tank with a nearly square bottom.
+++
The population of this tank:

- Barred Midas (?) / Hogaboom oder Choluteca-Buntbarsch (Amphilophus hogaboomorum)

  • @animalmastermtd:

    Hi, my master! =)

    Thanks!

  • Perhaps you could give him a common name of your own, going down into the hall of fish-ame

  • @blownable:

    I think that's how the most english names have developed.^^

    But do you think it's one of those colormophes or do you think it's more like a "Amphilophus hogaboomorum" (and how do you call a hogaboomorum)?

  • @n03lzz "Barred Midas" is the common name for the Barred colormorph of Amphilophus citrinellus. Barred and Colored are just stating the colormorph of Amphilophus Citrinellus.

  • hey n0 to be honest i have no idea what they are they just look like barred midas:)

  • Actually he can't exactly prove it. Look up barred midas on here youtube. You will come up with some nice delicate bruisers.

  • @seel1990:

    If i google the scientific name (Amphilophus hogaboomorum) , i don't find any page with name "barred midas" on it, and vice versa. Can you prove that name? I know that these guys are very closley related with the "normal" midas cichlid (Amphilophus Citrinellus), so i think you might be right!
