@Corocco1 yes but this wasnt about immigration u want a story of that than why dont u join the IOC and make a nomination for an NYC games, hello ellis island, not everywhere in the US is about immigration, its about the culture made by the immigrants that came ove here due to European Tyranny.

@TheHoliday555 that's complete crap, the majority of the USA never had any slaves at all, unlike Europe, which had slavery EVERYWHERE for MUCH longer than the USA ever did. And there was far more slavery in South America and the Carribean than in the USA. In fact there was more Slavery in AFRICA itself then there ever was in the USA. You're the one that needs to learn history.

@Corocco1 every country was built on immigration idiot. we all came from Africa originionally, so everyone in Europe and Asia and South America and Oceania is also from immigration. North America and the United States is not any different from any other continent.

why does NBC always try to shorten the parade of nations?
is it because its 2 hours long or more because I watched thirdbase3's videos of the Athens 2004 Parade of Nations and it was 2 hrs long. please let me know!!!!

Every single person in the US is here because they or someone from a past generation were immigrants. You can't be truly patriotic about the US until you realize how important immigration was for the development into what we are today
