Anne Boleyn's marriage to the mercurial Henry VIII is threatened by the presence of the sweetly cunning Jane Seymour.

Some of you might have remembered that back when I used to make Tudor vids, I did a video to the same song, using Bessie Blount as Jane Seymour. Well, now that Jane has been featured in the show, I finally decided to remake it because I couldnt get it off my mind. Obviously, those who are familiar with the series will notice that I only used Season 2's Anita Briem as Jane and failed to incorporate Annabelle Wallis, the replacement in Season 3. The reason, selfishly, is because I absolutely adored Annabelle's Jane and couldnt bear to malign her character on the show, whereas Anita, though indescribably beautiful, played a very sneaky and conniving Jane.

This is gonna confuse most people who doesn't know that the Lady Ann is the evil one.

It's a creative interpretation from Anne's perspective but in any case, I do not believe that either of them was the "evil" one. That's a very simplistic view of character. Lady Anne may have been manipulative and scheming but Jane Seymour was no innocent ingenue.She was old enough to know that she was playing for high stakes and in order to succeed she would have to dispose of her predecessor as ruthlessly as Anne did Queen Katharine. Even more so, since Anne had to die for her to succeed.

I believe the scene you are referring to is in episode 8 of Season 2 after the confrontation between Jane Seymour and Anne Boleyn. Queen Anne frets about removing Mistress Seymour from among her ladies while she's pregnant and her father tries to calm her down.

Season 2 Episode 8.

It's not Wyatt. She's hugging Mark Smeaton because Madge just rushed in with the news that Henry has been injured in a joust and it's thought he is likely to die.

I think such a dicision somehow reflects the fact that Anita carries the characteristics which go along with the Lady Ann.
