My first attempt at making a computer tutorial video. It is a learning process as well as a teaching process. I used a screen capture method from IrfanView and then Windows Live Photo Gallery from which I captured the images again. The reason behind this was so that all the images would be the same size. I used QuickTime 7 Pro to make the movie using the "Load Images..." from QuickTimes File menu.

  • i'm going to do this to the robot's at work !

  • @matrixcmitech Be sure not to kill any important processes - like to bots associated with the personel database in accounting. While in the matrix we still need to get paid.

  • Sometimes doing the "end processes" works when you know that it's a program you don't often use. However, I believe that the program stays there so that it can connect to the internet to do updates, as mine always does. Yeah, it's strange how when you try to open the program the computer thinks it's already running. Then you have to "end task" in that case. Since I got Windows 7 installed though I haven't had that problem like I had in the past.

  • @jhirzel88 End process from the PROCESS TAB should ONLY be done when You really, REALLY, know what you are doing. A question for you are anybody else here is: What and When do you use the END PROCESS TREE option?

  • It's good that you finally made a computer tutorial. Actually I mean FINALLY! Long time for me though. Maybe you could learn a few things but you're getting there. Did you notice that the screen was slightly cropped. Even a slight error like that won't convert to HD. Would you mind telling me the res for this, I'd like to know?

Shoutout to @doctortutorials for the comment below. Were you planning to make this video? Or did he give you advice which helped you make it?

  • @jhirzel88 Some of the cropping is intentional. Due to my computers capabilities (4.5) and running an external monitor I have limited both screen sizes to 1024x768 stacked logical on top of each other. There are programs that one can use to make videos like this with much better quality, but part of the reason of doing this was on how it can be done with very little cost. $30 for QuickTime Pro.

  • I can make my own task maneger in visual basic.

  • @DoctorTutorials Thanks. For my first TuT I guess its okay, but I'm very critical of myself and would prefer to have been clearer these are processes that are INVALID and should be ENDED. But, my 1st video is what I was able to overcome - perfectionist to the point of not posting. So I decided to remember that and just release this as it is. I can always add more to the description to clarify things.

  • Nice tutorial.
