  • Yes there is plurality between some religions, certainly between the 3 denominations Of the Abrahamic faith (Christianity, Islam & Judaism) because they all follow the same God, the God of the old testament. Anybody who denies this are just fooling themselves, regardless of how much they wish that it was not true.

  • Important distinction: I respect the rights of others to believe what they wish.

However, I do not necessarily respect the belief itself.

If someone wants me to respect their beliefs, then they need to have beliefs that do not sound like the mythologies of past cultures; they should possess rational foundations.

  • as a religious pluralist, I would say that I am all that concerned with absolutist and exclusivist claims hindering peace and harmony. I am more concerned with the implausibility of religious exclusivism. This implausbility especially manifests itself when we take a careful look at world religions.

  • This gentleman is misrepresenting pluralism and Christianity. One can be a Pluralist while still maintaining the singular Message of Christianity, pluralism merely challenges us to see the authentic message of other faiths, and appreciate other faiths. That does not necessarily preclude the reservation that the Christian message is unique, even superior. Pluralism isn't about changing how one views their own faith, its about changing how one views other faiths.

  • There's always more MrDage.

Open up your Bible and know that Christians came up with nothing new.

Zechariah 12:10 written in 520 B.C. "They shall look upon me whom they have pierced."

The background for this individual is Zechariah 12:8 and remember the Lord your God is a jealous God who will never share His glory, "the house of David shall be like God."

  • Haha calm down keyboard warrior. If you're talking about the Christian belief then you should clarify before you make an incorrect statement.

  • WOW, what a hypocritical statement.

(fucking idiots jump into a convo they know nothing about) but anyways....

We were talking about the christian belief until this random guy came about some zeitgeist accusition.

BUT, if you do care to talk about jews and muslims I'm more than happy to tell you of the "plagerism" from the so called "pagon" religions they created themselves upon.

Have you a good and fruitful life of knowledge. You'll need the luck you dumb fuck.

  • What an ignorant statement. Jews and Muslims do not believe in the trinity.
