I was a rookie in the North Hardin High School band Grand Nats was a big day.At about 9:00 to 9:30 we found out we didnt make it.All of our upper classmen were upset some 2nd year marchers and some rookies.I have best friends from the past season that I'm not going to see again because they are going to college.I will forever have a place in that band.It wasn't fair we didnt make it.To be honest the band,I have so many friends that feel like family from that band,that band saved my life really.

It was truely a memorable ride that I'll never forget! Going to Semi-Finals at Grand Nationals, even for a band like us or the O'Fallon Township band (ILL), is a truely unforgettable thing. Your hard work at band camp had finally payed off. The moment that your band is announced for an honor like that is just something that you never forget. I'm glad God had given us this opportunity, to cherish the rewards that came from all that hard work! Long live GR!
