A. Mae White
Age 95, passed away December 6, 2009, at Lenawee Medical Care Facility. She was born August 19, 1914 in Adrian, MI, to Fred & Laura Hanlin. Mae was an Adrian High School Graduate. In 1934, she was married to Merlyn R. White in Adrian by the Rev. Robert Mosher. Merlyn preceded her in death on October 28, 1986. Mae worked for American Cable in her early years and was an Avon Representative as well as a homemaker. Mae was an active member of the Raisin Valley Friends Church. She was very caring for her family as well as others. She is survived by her son; Bud and his wife Celia White, two granddaughters, Marjorie (Bill) Hornsby and Marlynn (Al) Alston, four great grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua, Benjamin and Jacob all of Adrian, and a niece, Elaine (Jack) Oneal of Seattle, WA.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Marguerite Payette and daughter, Beverly Melhorn. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian. Private burial will follow at Raisin Valley Friends Cemetery.
