It's - you're just plain stupid.
And no, Iran (Persia) has it's own spoken and written language known as Farsi. They have beards and pray towards Mecca but they are not Arabs (Arabic-speaking people).

@rykera69 He's right... Most Iranians are Persian, not Arab. They don't speak Arabic, they're not Sunni, and they share few cultural similarities with Arab people.

It should have been called " Little Church in Desert of Saudi Arabia" That would have been brave...there are Churches in Iran, but one in Saudi Arabia, but then that would have made the Arabs up set and CBC does not want to do that...

I'd visit more liberal Arab nations like Jordan, Lebanon, or the U.A.E. Simply because some of the most fascinating civilizations in world history settled in the Middle East and Anatolia. But I'd stay away from the more theocratic states like the new Iraq, or Saudi Arabia.
