Here's a quick interview with former Oregon State and current NFL safety Sabby Piscitelli, who has been in Corvallis to work out and watch Spring practice during the NFL lock out.
Sabby played at Oregon State under head coach Mike Riley from 2003-2006. He started at strong safety for three years (2004, 2005, 2006) after playing all 13 games as a back up to Lawrence Turner during his freshman season (2003).
Sabby was named First-Team All Pac-10 safety in 2006, after earning honorable mention status in 2004 and 2005. He finished his Oregon State career with 15 interceptions (1 which resulted in a defensive TD), 3 fumble recoveries, 29 passes defensed, 130 solo tackles - including 4 tackles for loss, and 48 assisted tackles.
Piscitelli was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2nd Round of the 2007 NFL Draft. After played 3+ seasons in Tampa, he signed with the Cleveland Browns on December 1st, 2010.
