ISAF Soldier Game Model/Animation

This is a bit of a collaboration. The Canadian Soldier I modeled, rigged and textured for the Source Engine.

I then passed that file off to a friend and classmate of mine, Jeremy Travis. Although the version of the model I gave him was unfinished in terms of the topology and the envelope weighting, he still managed to work with it to animated this little dragging sequence.

Well, they have 'Canadian Forces: Direct Action', which is a training tool used by our soldiers and police (and is something I'm in the process of applying for ^_^).

hey if you make a soldier my for me how much would that cost if it is ok i would like the model to be free

its well animated, but its not accurate, a soldier would never drag a wounded comrade by the hand. this would be too slow and would put to much strain on the arm and shoulder. there is a drag loop on the back of most military vests to be used in such an occasion. just a fun fact.

You know, there are special evacuation handles on combat vests so you don't pull your fellow wounded arms off.. Nice animation by the way
