Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (Original "Bring the Song" #12)

This one hit me today - fresh off the press as it were. No idea if it works.

I've been thinking about the way humans go through the day kidding themselves. I suspect most people walk around in a constant state of "WTF?" - Thus the title. Not about whiskey, tangoes, or foxtrots.

The guitar is a high-strung/Nashville tuned six string (bottom four string replaced with octave strings). Just a little reverb, no effects.

Awesome song an singing Grumps! Absolutely love it. Really sweet intro lick and that tuning is really cool. Is it like a twelvestringe but with the only the octave strings? Never seen that, but then again I live far away from Nashville...

Thanks amigo - Yep, just like a 12 string, only use the octave high strings on the EADG - the B and High E are standard. It's mostly used for studio doubling (and mostly in the 70's), but I think it sounds cool alone too.

You should try it, it's like getting s new guitar for the price of a few strings. Sort of a re-entrant guitar tuning.
