Acer has a new bios for this laptop to fix the battery drain problem.

With the new bios, after 72 hours of being off I've only lost 5% charge. Before I was losing 5-6% per day. So much for them saying it was 'normal' when I sent it in for RMA 7 months ago.

hi , i need some help for my birthday this yeaar i am alloud a laptop i was looking around for laptops i saw dell was selling a alienware m17x with some good stuff for about £1500 so, i need a laptop which has a lot of memory space at least 250gb at least a 4gb RaM and is not windows 7 ------------------------------­---- my laptop will be used for gaming and also i download a lot of programs and game addons so any laptop that would suit my needs i will pay up to £1500 for a laptop
