I tried the game, despite the obvious warning on the label. (The Bandai logo was like a Mr. Yuk sticker on a bottle of drain cleaner.) And I have to say that this is one of their better games.

Ugh! At 3:30... Welcome to an 8-bit version of hell! It BADLY freaked me out as a kid! According to the manual, this 8 bit hell is supposed to be the "Dark side" of Bert's planet. I dunno, I vaguely remember the manual.

If you're having THAT much trouble with the level 2 snake boss, you should try just running up to it and battering it if you haven't Bert.

A litle tip-try to stock up on health before facing bosses. An enemy that gives you health respawns, like all the others, so you can get all the 8 or so hearts at once, plus you get another 8 health points for finishing the level. The key is to have alot of health.Of course, I'd love to see your take on level 6.
