2012 NFL Prospect Highlights: Ronnie Weaver

Ronnie Weaver joined the UCF Football program as a non-scholarship player in 2007 (red-shirted); by 2010 Weaver had worked his way up the depth chart and assumed the starting running back role for part of the season (amassing over 100 rushing yards 4-times).
Before handling running back duties, Weaver excelled on various special teams units; Weaver would often be the first player downfield making the big tackle. Weaver has 17 career tackles, 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery; primarily accumulated while playing special teams.
As a running back, Weaver has a relentless motor and good pop at the point of attack; Weaver is excellent at picking up blitzes in passing situations.
Weaver can be effective in short yardage on his terrific effort alone; Weaver is a downhill runner who runs with a mean-streak.
Possessing tremendous lower body strength (605 lb squat), Weaver can run over would-be tacklers not using proper technique.
Weaver has a great attitude and is a coach's dream, Weaver will do whatever he can to help the team win. (Special teams, running back, wildcat etc)

agreed, Weaver is simply put, an athlete much like bruce miller was... just put him on the field and he'll put you at awe, what an amazing RB he is for being a walk-on

He is one of those guys like Bruce Miller that you can just put on the field and expect him to make a play whether it is a nice block, a tackle on special teams, a big run or catch. Good all round player.
