  • why are the tanks so deep? is there a bathroom in basement.

  • Yes, pipe exits the dwelling about 6 feet below grade and first tank is out almost 30 feet to clear a deck and tree. At that distance your down almost another foot by the time the pipe enters the first tank. I did not want a grinder pump in my sons, basement, bedroom. With the tanks being four to five feet tall that puts them at about 12 feet deep.

  • It would be sad to see that kid buried by that improperly shored trench. Even worse the hoe is still working while he is in the trench.
