Professor George Kordis is a modern-day Da Vinci of icon painting. Seeing him in action is a priviledge and rare opportunity in our lifetime to see work of this caliber. Talent and technique like this is that of masters & does not come upon every street corner. It is indeed a blessing that he shares his knowledge with others and contributes to have this art form continue for years to come. His work is priceless in more ways than one. Thank you for sharing this with us all ! Inspirational !!
I believe that Prof.George Kordis (Iconographer) from the Theological Dept. at University of Athens. Has once more shown us his grand contribution to adhoc under drawing (without transferring the image from an older Icon) and preparing the egg-tempera painting using only 4 earth colors in a swift and beautiful gesture of the human spirit. May George Kordis always be blessed and show us the true way to evolving our inner world as artists and christians.
