The third installment of Roger Shah's audio postcard from the magical island of Balearic Trance has been sent. To give you a little pre-taste of what this new compilation sounds like, the 'Magic Island: Music For Balearic People Vol. 3' Sampler is there to introduce you to it.
Volume 3 isn't only filled with exclusives and songs produced especially for the album, but also features lots of new producer talents. This first Magic Island sampler will introduce you to three of them: Nando, Dejan S. and Iris Deejay. All part of the Balearic minded community.
Serbia may not be the first place you'd have in mind while thinking of white sandy beaches, clear blue water and lazy hours in the sun. But Dejan Subotin proves everyone wrong. When listening to his 'Behind The Mountains', the Ibiza feeling takes over, as if right next door. Lush, easy-going progressive trance with a strong and catchy melody.
Fernando Ruiz, better known as Nando, caught the warm sea breeze of Miami in his 'Third Person'. Nando provides you trance with a rough edge, guitar-driven and big-bassed. Just the way we like it.
To top it off, the first Sampler showcases Spanish producer-lady Iris Dee Jay. Together with Finnish vocalist Maria Opale, Raquel Rodriguez delivers a deep, distortive vocal trance anthem called 'Leave A Sign'. Melodic, melodramatic and strong.
