It was very remote aria, big part of Peninsula De Nicoya. This plane is life line for tourists and locals. Have bought a peace of lend on Playa Hermosa, 6 km St. Teresa, they call the place now "Hermosa Valley". Probably, the nicest place on earth. 20 years ago, when came, was almost nobody. Then, you need a survival pack to come from San jose :)) still is very wild in rainy season.. love Costa Rica!

I love the Quepos International Airport. The facilities are superb. LOL.

i took that same flight from san jose it took 24 minutes instead of a 3 hour taxi ride and if you saw the landing strip you would have shit your pants, looked like a 300 foot long 1 car driveway (narrow) nestled in the middle of the jungle you could barely see it from the air lol lost in the fog and clouds above the mountain half way there the plane shook like crazy i was scared shit the whole trip when we landed it was a small hut with a guy with a laptop and a coke machine nice airport lol
