@JazzBass7 Yeah man. But I think Phil is able to do that. I've seen it, and to me any boutique jazz basses will always sound good, esp the 70s. Just have to experiment with the pre/pup config. If you ever make one, you should try Aero pickups w/ Mike Pope pre. That's one config I'm yet to try, but for me the bass that I have right now is just as good as fodera, fclef, sadowsky, whatever, you know?
really quick replay! :) thanx.
i thought that slap sound has more to do with the "edge" and the "middle" area
but my question remains.i think it's hard to equalize the volumes of the two channels
.i hope that there is a (A+B) and A possibility too (than the A and B separated)

@FortySixAndTwo86 it works both ways. you can separate the channels and mixed them together too.

hello my friend. i have a question.let's say for example that you play in channel A with a deep bass sound with some boost and suddenly it's time for a more slappy sound with no drive at all.channel B isn't too loud enough in this case.what do you do?
and my second question is :is is better to have the volume level at 100% so you don't increase the amp level than to have the volume at 50% for example and louder the level of the amplifier

@FortySixAndTwo86 Hi
Channel A doesn't have drive, Channel B does. If I'm to go for a very very specific sound, I'd go channel B for fingerstyle/deep bass sound & channel A for slap. On the EBS PreAmp I don't usually go with volume on full, because I want to have abit of BOOST too.. What BOOST does is that it increases the sensitivity of the frequencies, and if you have volume on full, the sound will get too harsh.
