I have never known more about what isn't going on in a movie.

  • where did the "SLEEP!" joke originate from?

  • @gojirafan430 I think it was a really early episode in which a hypnotist kept saying SLEEEEEEP and Tom just took a fancy to it.

  • Roger Corman had absolutely no clue about history - the anachronisms are flying fast and furiously!

  • @Demelza1964 What's interesting about this is that the script was written by other people, in iambic pentameter -- it was supposed to be an homage to Shakespeare, but once Corman got a hold of it he essentially clusterfuckcocked it up. Enjoy!

  • that album sounds like the best one ever! kill a little die a little? awesome! haha

  • @ggallinisgod1 Hello, filth. Didn't see you standin' there!

  • @gojirafan430 It's from 423-Bride of the Monster, when Bela Lugosi does his hand waving hypnotist bit. To be honest though, Joel and the bots were using it a couple years before that, back when they were showing The Phantom Creeps (which Bela is also in).

  • Cast notes: the luscious Allison Hayes (Livia) also appeared in the MST3K films "The Unearthly", "The Gunslinger", and "The Crawling Hand". Bruno Ve Sota (Scroop) was also the buttery club owner in "Daddy-O" and the fat husband of the sweet young thang in "Attack of the Giant Leeches". Richad Devon (Satan) was the chief of the bad guy tribe in "Viking Women and the Sea Serpent" and Dick Miller (the leper who signs his soul away) was an army sargeant in "It Conquered the World".

  • @4youglencoco Thanks for that interesting fact. I would never have known that. Thanks so much for posting this video. There is nothing like an MST3K to lift one's spirits! You rule!

  • I think the main point of this movie is to...STAY!
