SWR IS TRASH

SWR is trash. The iamp players are only participating in SWR tournaments, because they're held along with Iamp tournaments.

I'm going to join an iamp tournament soon too, and if there's SWR on the side i'll surely play in it, although I don't like the game.

The first demo came out nearly two years ago. We've had an awful lot of time to form opinions on the game, and I don't think any of them will be changing anytime soon. Tasofro hasn't even given us many reasons to do so, either.

Over time? The game has been out for a year. Most of us have played it and disliked it for months. We played it since the initial demo release. We gave it a fair chance. Why would we suddenly start liking a game that we've disliked since the beginning and continued to dislike up until the latest patch?

I'm personally not going to waste my time with a crappy game like SWR when I have so many other good games to play.

I've seen the replays too, and while the player pool isn't as deep as Iamp, I disagree that every single match is just casual players messing around.

And regardless of past experiences, I hope Bell and the Iamp community as a whole can warm up to this game. People can change their minds over time, at first I couldn't stand SWR either, but it's own unique qualities became apparent over time, and I'm just hoping others can come to appreciate them as well.

Sure you can, because that's the majority of what happens at the SWR tournaments.

He made fun of it because there's really nothing worth commentating on for most of the matches played in tournaments. It's just casual players playing poorly. And don't think I haven't watched any of the tournament reps, because I have.

And sorry to repeat myself by if you think it's worth it then go and do it yourself. It's obvious Bell has no intention of doing so (hence the videos he posted).

They weren't commentaries so much as making fun of the game. And I hope that all the Iamp-purists watch high level SWR play, realize the differences but appreciate the unique qualities of it, and give their support for more tasofro touhou fighters.

You can't take two noob SWR matches and call that an accurate take on tournament play. If only for demonstrative purposes, it'd be great if bellreisa could comment on an SWR game featuring Kai's suika. But again, this is just a request from a fan.

Check his videos page (I found them on page 8). He did two commentary videos for SWR already. There's really no point in doing any more.
